 Introduction
Active Wave Inc. is an innovative manufacturer and developer of Radio frequency
identification or RFID. RFID can be used for access control in office buildings,
warehouses, airports, and any other commerical location where a high level of
security is required yet there is a large volume of people moving in and out of
the location. RFID is also used for tracking and locating inventory and equipment.
The RFID industry is highly competitive. However, Active Wave's products have
significant advantage over many of their competitors. In addition, Active Wave
both engineers the individual components and archetects complete solutions for
their customers.
Development of a Web Strategy for Active Wave
After meeting with the client, we were able to help them identify the goals
of their web site. Active Waves' main goal was to educate the potential customer
about their product line and show them how an Active Wave Solution can help them
significantly reduce costs and acheive greater security in their business. In
addition, they wanted to show the customer why their solution offered a significant
benefit over the competition.
Deployment of the Web Site
Celestial Graphics did background research on the competitor's web sites, and
with additional prior knowledge of the RFID industry was able to identify what
could be done to give Active Wave a superior web presence.
The goal was to have the web site complete before a certain industry trade
show in Europe. We were able to complete the web site two weeks ahead of schedule.
In addition we were able to develop marketing colateral including the trade show
display poster and product brochure.
